What do you guys think, should help better, bigger front cross drilled rotors in the front, or make the convertion from drums to rotors in the back... im on a budget of around 200 dlls( +/- a few bucks of course), so 4 piston calipers and 13" or more brakes are out of the question..

bigger brakes in the front would be cool. 200 bucks doesn't seem like enough money to me though, but i might be wrong. plus you got to consider the size of the new brakes and them maybe being to big for your rims. if your running 17's then there is no problem, maybe with 16's though

Upgrage the front brakes, ignore the rear brakes. 75-80% of the braking is done by the front brakes, so upgrade the ones doing the most work. The more you upgrade the front brakes, the less work the rears will do anyway.

yes upgrade the fronts. Drums do alright, but wet braking and fade can be problems I think. Your car will brake more evenly with discs I've noticed. Like the car won't suddenly lunge forward so much. Which means most of the braking is done by the front and your gonna overwork your front then fade quicker. With rear discs you will fade less.

So upgrading the rear isn't a bad idea also. If you can find it in a junkyard go for it. :)

Ya front brakes do the most work. I've changed my front pads twice already, but never changed the rear. But I remember reading about the balance of the car etc., and you should upgrade all four if you are going with some sort of big brake kit. If you only upgrade the front, it supposedly throws the car off balance when braking. It's also easier to lock up the front wheels since the rear is not slowing down as fast as the front. But I know a lot of people do only get front big brakes, I just remember reading on the talon digest about a lot of good discussion on the balance characteristics of the car, and how you actually want to increase the braking in the rear too.

Hey bro just a quick question how fast are you going? You can find all you need for around 200 but for a look good kit your going to be spending big. I needed to upgrade mine badly because of extreme brake fade. I upgraded to the 96 awd set up twin upfront and single in back. I still have brake fade when I go easy on the brakes. If I lay into it they really throw shit around in the car.well good luck look in some junk yards and get your parts we'll help you from there.

u know why right, cuz you switched that proportioning valve and shouldnt have.....u want the most amount physically possible on the front brakes and you reversed it....theres your problem....
