the "red" h&r springs are the race springs, which is a 2in drop in the front and 1.75 in the rear. you will need new struts and a more then like a rear camber kit.

You probably wont need new struts right away, some stock struts blow out faster than others do. I see people put springs on their cars and blow the struts in a week, I have had Skunk2 coilovers for 2 years now and I am still on stock struts, haven't blown out yet. I would get the camber kits unless you want to get new tires every couple months. I wouldn't worry about painting them, you can't see them anyway when they are on the car.

The springs are all you will need to lower your car yeah, but when lowering your car that much on low pro tires you should go ahead and get a camber kit or you will be replacing tires like a mofo. Im lowered 1.5in and since I am still stuck in club 14 i dont have that problem. As far as painting them, dont waste your time you wont be able to see them once there on the car. The springs on my car are bluish green and you cant see mine so I know with a 2in drop you wont see yours. Upgrading the shocks would be a good idea though.

150 sounds good, if you paint them the paint will crack off and peel away you wold need to have them powder coated which would cost liek 100 a spring. really not worth it

one more question...
would i be ble to do the $15 camber kit when i get these springs? tia

For the rear camber yes, there should be no problem.

Hello....
Here is how low the H&R race springs lowed the car with 18" rims.



You need camber alignment kit for sure if you don't need to change the tires in a short time.
$15 for rare is good, I also recommend to change your shocks
to after market one, like Koni, Tokico, ....... if you want a better ride.
