My friend is in a car club and gets mad discounts on stuff. He said he can get me special edition ground control coilover for 180? Is that a good price? And what is so special about these that they are called speical edition?

Uhh as far as I know special edition was only made for honda civic and acura integra. It's a special edition with a specific spring rate (so you can't pick another spring rate). Basically ground control made those kits with specific spring rates in bulk to sell off as special edition. Normally if you buy a normal kit, it costs more because you can pick a specific spring rate for the front and the rear. Also, like I said, I don't think special edition was ever made for the eclipse.

Who gives a shit if its "special edition" or not...But if it is actually normal ground controls coilovers for $180 Ill take 2.

Ground Controls are normally $399 so if they are for the eclipse for $180, buy them.

Trust me, I highly doubt that Ground Control has a special edition for our cars...the Ground Controls are 399, and wholesale is nearly 350 last time I checked. The special edition for civic/integra retails for 299 from ground control, and wholesale is around 250. Either way, 180 is an awesome deal (unless it's the fake ground controls like that one groupbuy a year ago - I guess there are fake ones that look like ground controls, and a retailer was selling those as the real ones til ground control found out and informed them). If it's real ground control, and you can get multiple for 180, I'll take 10 of em...

ok, i asked this dood about the special edition thing, and he basiacally said, toadjust them, you dont need no tools or nething. All you do is loosen some thing or another, i dont remeber. I will ask him again and post his exact response. If you guys really do want some, let me know. I will see the exact price i can get them for. he said it will be around 180-230, he has to check. i just put the lowest price on the subject so u people would read it, lol. So once i get all the specifics, i will let you guys know.
