4459, mixing shocks?
Posted by EvMan2345, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I already ordered tokico blues for my fronts- and my friend just crashed his GS-T and he has KYB adjustables for rears. Hes going to give them to me for real cheap. Would it matter that they're different??

dont get the KYBs if youre planning on lowering your car. not to say they wont work, but every other strut on the market for our cars will work better.

The back makes no difference. The front is the KYB shock that is 1/3 inch longer and needs more travel.

Mixing shocks is no problem, and that is correct the front KYBs cause problems with lowering, not the backs.
