4445, wanna take our back seats Posted by soldier101, Oct-07-01 03:44 PM
LAST EDITED ON 07-Oct-01 AT 09:15 PM (PST)Ok guys, I wanna take out my back seats, but when I remove them there are these big ugly metal things, what can I do to hid these? For example do I build a casing or something or just by some type of matting or something? Instructions on what to do are welcome.

I've thought about removing it and molding a fiberglass cover that could lock into the front clips for the seat padding. Then covering it with gray carpeting. You could always just use some of the sound damping material and cover that with gray carpet. There are a lot of ideas here: use the new spot as a mounting for a sub box... Depends on what you want to do. Whatever you decide to do don't make it impossible to remove. If there is a need to get to the fuel pump this is how you get there.
