4154, GS Strut bar to a GSX Posted by 99GSBBTurbo, Nov-20-01 03:12 PM
Will my strut bar from my GS fit in my GSX?? I put it in there and it seems to clear the engine and wires and stuff, but it's really close to the cam gear cover. Has any one done this??

for the front??? I dont think you would have problems, but why dont you just try it out, it would only take like 15 min tops

Well I think hes just afraid of it moving down and pushing the cam gears down or bending something. I dont think it would be a problem but Ill wait for someone to confirm.

should. the RS/GS and GS-T/GSX use the same strut bar but it's flipped over the other way.

the rs gs and gs-t are the same but the gsx is different due too the suspension

that's only true with the lower rear suspension, iced out. the rear struts are different. strut bar won't matter.
