4037, Do I need......

I am thinking of buying Gold-Line Performance Springs (yeah, okay, im cheap). Question is they say i can get nearly a 2" drop with these. If I actually get a drop that low, do I need to buy a camber kit? Plus, would I need to buy a stiffer suspension? Im afraid of speed bumps :(

All Eclipses seem to be a little different. Good rule of thumb is to get a camber kit with anyting below 1.5" drop. Of course get an alignment after the springs are installed and they can tell you how many degrees your camber is off, hence you'll know what kit to buy. Check out the $15 rear camber mod on the main page.

Stock struts will hold on a 2" drop, but for how long....Just plan on buying struts in the near future. When your car is lowered you need to basically learn to redrive it. There are going to places that will take a certain amount of technique to get in and out of. You'll figure it out once you scrape the hell out of your front bumper. Good luck.

If you are cheap just get a set of used springs. I would much rather do that than a POS brand especially for something as big as springs. I have been through 5 different suspension set-ups until I finally bought a set of quality springs that ride nice.

You will need Struts, camber kits, and an alignment.
