3816, Why I hate low-pro tires- Posted by eclipzGST, Oct-29-01 08:01 PM
Tonite was the second time this year I had a rear tire that was low on air and/or flat that I drove on for at least a few miles. This time I made it to a gas-station before it got all the way down but I think I knocked it off the bead cause the tread is CONCAVE . Also it's got a pretty fierce wobble thatgot progressively worse on the ride home. fukkin stockers will be on till spring now...... (unless the tire isn't as bad as I think)

FZ4's SUCK! I have them on my back tires right now but I had to change the fronts because the wet traction SUCKS and we get a lot of rain here. The dry traction sucks on those too though. I like Yoks, they handle very well.

Kumhos are great. They are especially good in the rain.

Yeah the wet-traction blows. I have an AT and after the turbo spools, I can smoke them forever and a day. I had some Falkens before that I got with the rims that were bald and still handled pretty well. They aren't too expensive either. Anyone have any experience with a "new" set of Falken Ziex'?
