33463, Tokico Shocks and springs 1.5" drop Posted by xxsoccerguy55xx, Nov-26-11 07:57 PM
I'm looking into some Tokico shocks and springs. They say 1.5" drop. I have heard some say they settle much lower. I have the gsx rims 215/45/17. I just want to make sure that my tires would not scrap. Also I want to see some pictures and what people think about them. Do you scrape alot? over speedbumps?

You mean scrape? Search the back threads, as there is plenty of information to be had regarding off the shelf spring/shock setups and the results people have.
For example, you would have found this: http://www.2gnt.com/?d=Tokico_HP_springs/Blue_strut_combo

I had Tokico blue struts and D2 springs on my car. The springs were designed for a 2 in. drop. I hardly ever scraped as long as I drove the car smartly. I had 235/45/17 on 17x10 rim (+or- on the width.) Never had issues with it. The new struts and springs were a night and day difference over stock. Way better response to weight changes and still a MUCH more comfortable ride.IMO...
