What exactly do I need to loop the power steering hoses. I've been driving without the belt....Will this damage anything?

There's an in and an out on the rack and pinion. Connect the two.

Will just plugging each line separately cause a problem?

Go to the hardware store and get a metal hose connector. The brass ones for air lines that look like stacked cones work great
