3159, Question about Skunk2...... Posted by Emporioct, Jul-07-01 07:32 AM
OK guys I have R2 autodesign doing all of my installs and I am getting skunk2 coilovers for about 300.00 not installed. My question is how much will this drop me and I have been hearing that coilovers suck and that I should get springs instead. Can someone help me please.....

The skunk2 coilovers are a very good race spring. If you are going for looks and not performance you may want to get either maxspeeds or ground control. If you just want it a little lower, get just springs, they are not as rough and drop between 1.3 and 2.00 inches depending on what company you go with.

They drop you from 0-4". I'm at 2.25" and I don't have problems scraping that bad anyway. They're very stiff so it it won't scrape if you careful. The will make your car roll very little too :) I have yet to drop them to 4" hehe! Scrapety Scrape ^_^
