31426, What is a camber kit? Posted by LegacyCore, Sep-01-08 08:16 PM
Just as the subject states, what is a camber kit? I have seen pictures of the Ingalls kits, and I know they are apart of your suspension. But what do they do? Are they needed to be upgraded to and adjustable camber kit when lowering the car? I'm looking at Tokiko HP struts and Eibach Pro-kit to lower my Eclipse. Is this something I really should look into when upgrading my suspension? Thanks.

If you know what camber is then a camber kit is pretty self-explanatory.

Thanks! That explained everything for me, and the answer to my question is yes. I do want the camber kit for all four wheels no matter how low I go. Should always be on the safe side when doing suspension modifications.

From what I read it seems that there is no camber mod for the front suspension, I am no pro, but I think that's what I read.
If you look around in the wiki there should be a write up in regards to a $15 camber mod, just to let you know....

Actually there is. there's an offset upper balljoint that reduces your clearance or offset bolts for the upper control arms IIRC
