31307, My car is always leaning to the right
Posted by jaimer, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Well at first I thought it was my shocks or springs because on the right front side it had a big wheel gap. So I bought some tokico HP's and some tenzo r lowering springs (dont recommend way to weak)

Now I think I made it worse like my whole car feels like the weight is on the right side of the car. Like Im more elevated on my side by the driver side. My wheel even hops (back right) alot if I make a right turn unto a gas station or something.

What im asking is any suggestions what can it be?
im kinda new so srry if i said anythin stupid

stop dating fat chicks? lol
sorry couldnt help it

anyway for a serious answer,
measure some points for me would ya please?

on a level solid flat surface grab the right and left side distances:

dont jack the car up for this
ground to the suspension fork lower mounting bolt (center of bolt)
ground to Upper control arm mounting point
ground to upper control ball joint
ground to upper spring perch (wheel well side is fine)

this should give you some solid reference points to compare the right and left sides to see if the shocks are the culprate, or if somthing is bent.

also have you replaced or upgraded the rear sway bar?
id check to see if that was maybe bent or if its an adjustable one, back it off one notch and give that a try

This question has been asked since the cars were engineered. Its in the 1001 FAQ on DSM sites. I dont know the answer, i never cared.
