31210, Eibach springs and Tokico shocks?
Posted by paintballer92562, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Hey guys,

Right now I have a set of Eibach springs but no shocks. I was wondering if I can mix and match Eibach springs and Tokico shocks?

Yes they will work fine and you will be happy with them.

I'm using Eibach Pro-Kit springs with Tokico HP (Blues) shocks and love them. They are good for DD and for better cornering. Not to mention it gets rid of the ugly wheel gap pretty well.

I have the Sport-lines and the Tokico HP's and hate them, maybe I should go with the Pro-Kits?

Why do you hate them? I didn't "hate" mine, I just wanted something a little more firm and not feel like I float over everything. Looked awesome, but I would rather have performance over the looks.

Prokits and tokico blues work great.

The Sportlines will rattle your shit on surface streets. On the highway, for the long haul, they're awesome. You just bomb down the highway, but on a daily driver around town, I think the Sporties are just a *wee* bit too low for my liking.

(I ran Sporties on GR2s for better than 2 years.)

I have some Goldline springs-which have the same drop as the Eibach Sportlines-mated to some Tokico Illuminas. I love the way they ride. Driggs is right though. I wouldn't recommend driving an Eclipse around town with a 2" drop.

I used to have sportlines w/ tokicos and I had to sell them because they were too low for me. The car looked nice but drove really rough. Seems like everyone recommends the pro-kits instead so it looks like i'll be shopping for some pro-kits sometime before the summer. Don't mean to hi-jack the thread but how would you guys rate pro-kits against Tein-S springs? I think they have about the same 1'-1.3' drop.

I've never ridden in a car with the pro-kits, but the Tein S-techs have a nice ride with Tokico Illuminas.

I have prokits and illumina's. I feel glued to the road, its hits bumps hard on the back roads, but i keep them set pretty stiff. Definetly a good setup though.

I am on a set of Tein H's and Tokico Hp (blue's) and I love the combination. Lowered the car about an inch, stiffened the ride quality and not too stiff for me but still feels upgraded.
