If I got some 17-7.5 Konig Rims and then some good tires how long would the tires last, if any of you are in my situation how long did it take before you had to get a new set???

Thanx

Nate

I have a set of Konig 17x7.5 with some215/45 Z-rated a520 Yokos. The rims you pick have nothing to do with tire wear. The tire wear ratings will tell you how often you'll be replacing them. Higher speed ratings generally wear out faster. H rated lasts much longer than Zs. Most Z rated tires will last anywhere from 15,000 to 30,000 miles. Some brands such as Nittos and Yokohama Paradas claim to hit that higher mark. But performance tires wear out so fast, i'll guarantee you'll be replacing the set at least once a year. I've been replacing mines every 1/2 year. Low profile tires also blow out easier becasue their sidewalls are much weaker than regular tires.

Also make sure you get camber adjustments and wheel alignments after messing with your shock/springs so your rubbers will last longer. A bad alignment will destroy your tires QUICK. Good luck.
