I haven't messed with removing the stock lines before, and I don't know what to do with the fitting (a metal cylinder looking thing that is pinched on to the rubber line). It doesn't look like it unscrews from the hard line. I have some steel-braded lines ready to install - help a brother out.

There is a C-clip that attaches the brake line to the inside of the fenderwell. When you remove that you should see the nut that holds the hard line to the rubber line.

Now with more picture of the area where everything fits together.

before you try removing them from the hardlines get a GOOD set of Flare Nut Wrenches, this will keep you from damaging the fitting as your wrenching it off. regular wrenches will round off those nuts SOO fast you'll be pissed when you have to deal with vice grips from then on

thanks guys. yea, I used a flare wrench on the fuel lines, I won't settle for anything less on the brake lines. off the top of your head, do you know the size flare wrench?

12 or 13mm. It's been about 5 or 6 months since I messed with that last.

for the hard lines of the brakes you will need a 10mm flare.
