30618, im a girl with a squieky noise from my car. Posted by cassyboyer, Jul-27-07 11:38 AM i have a 96 RS eclipse and latley it has been making a squeiky noise, but its coming from the drivers side. my friend look at the brakes on both the front and the back on the left, nothing is wrong with the padding. and the noise comes when i accelerate and also when hitting the breaks lightly. and osmetimes when im driving it doesnt even stop. | |

30620, RE: im a girl with a squieky noise from my car. Posted by Star Turbo Talon, Jul-28-07 01:55 AM Probably have squeeky brakes. Just because the pads arent worn to the point they need to be replaced doesnt mean they wont squeek. Semi metalics do have a habit of making slight noise. | |

I'm running inexpensive semi-metallic brake pads on my car and they squeak a lot. Mostly when accelerating from a stop or whenever I lightly hit the brakes. I just quit worrying about it. | |
