the bolt that im talking about is just referred to as the "self locking bolt" in the haynes manual. If you pop the hood and are looking down at the shock mount there are 3 bolts that you would bolt a strut bar to, then under the rubber cover/gromet thing in the middle there is one small bolt, maybe 10mm, how tight should that be? Since ive lowered my car im getting some crazy squeaking from there.

17mm is the bolt size, not 10 sorry.

If you're talking about that top self locking nut(40286C), the Chilton's manual lists the torque spec at 14-18ft.lbs.
