I'm picking up a pair of used AWD RMDSM sway bars. Will they fit on my 2g NT?

not sure about the front but i think the rear will if you do the mods to add a rear bar, plus the rmdsm links, not 100% on that tho

I have a GS w/ sports package so I have a rear bar already. I'm going to pick them up & give them a try. I need a rear bar to clear my exhaust and was told the NT bar wouldn't clear a 3" catback that goes under the rear cross-member.

if you don't want to spend a bunch on sway bar upgrades and you have the 16mm stock one just throw some new energy suspension bushings on
it, they help a lot

Yeah, I thought about going that route, but I just bought new Koni's & Eibach Pro's so I wanted to change everything at once & figured bigger sway bars would be a good idea.

I have a 19mm rear sway bar and the tociko hp suspension package,all polyurethane bushings, plus 4 strut tower bars, my set up was perfect for my driving and my auto cross style, You need to build the suspension on your car for you, higher spring rates and huge sway bars arnt going to make a difference if you don't know how to use them, and push the car. I have a Porsche 924s and the suspension is completely stock and everybody says the cars handling is amazing, this is because they built the car with an average consumer in mind, not a race car driver, in my option my 2gnt has better control than my Porsche, they are two different style of car but the idea is the same, its all about you, its like strut tower braces, some people say they wont do a thing, others (like me) love them. figure out what you (and your budget) need, and build accordingly, one thing though you need to take the time and install the polyurethane bushing kit, if you want your car to handle good.
