Hey everyone I am considering getting the Tein Flex coilovers with the edfc and I was wondering if anyone has them and where they mounted the controller. If you have pictures also that would be greaty appreciated. Thank you1

im getting the same set up in a few weeks or so. from what I have read nothing but good things about edfc and teins.

I just got mine installed on Tuesday (Flex & EDFC). I mounted the controller in the tray right under the radio. I just took 2 pics (with and without flash):

How do you like the ride? Do you notice a difference when you adjust it from the cabin?

You get what you pay for, and this setup is definitely worth every penny. The motors are not too loud when they do their thing (it'll adjust the front and rear from softest to hardest <00-16> settings in about 3 seconds). As for the ride, it's stiffer than stock. The damping control keeps the car from squatting under acceleration, plus it seems to have eliminated about 95% of my nasty-ass wheel hop. It is truly amazing how well this suspension helps carve through the turns. Body roll is very minimal, and road feedback is excellent.

Awesome. I am most likely going to get them especially since I am going to be turboing my car sometime next week. I just need to find a place that sells them for a reasonable price.

It should be 16 increments whithout the edfc and 32 with it. It changes to half increments. I have mine mounted exactly where yours is and I am working on throwing a peice of cf around it.

Yeah, you actually have the option of using either the 16 or 32 level settings. The soft/hard settings are the same between the two - you just have the ability to make finer adjustments in 32 mode.

I need to change my pic.. That's my old (stock) setup - it's more like a lift kit IMO. haha

Wow, not bad price. I've read alot of reviews about them but never thought they would work right in a DSM.

What about using a UPPER strut tower bar, would I ( we all ) be able to use any aftermarket or do they recommend the TEIN strut bar instead.

most tower braces only go around the edge of the tower and use the 3 bolts the the pillow mounts use.
as long as your brace uses these 3 holes and dosent cover the tops of the tower it will work

Yeah, the key is to get a strut support w/o the top. The motors are small, but I wouldn't want anything bolted on top of them. Tein sells tower braces, but i haven't seen them for the Eclipse yet (only Evos...)

I've been to the Tein website and seen pictures of their cutsomers Eclipses with full setups on them they look good.

Check it out if you haven't yet.. Its worth the look
