I have searched for awhile, but never really found the setting point on these.

Tokico states it gives a 1.5 inch drop, but when they settle how far does it really go?

I've heard many opinions that range from its actually a 1.3drop to a 2.25 drop.


I want a good 1.8ish...

So my question is if I get these how low do they really go?


Also the stock spring rate is supposidly more stiff then this one, it this true as well?


I am talking about the Tokico HP Springs with the Tokico Blue struts.

I had a set that I sold to a friend and they settled prolly 1.7-1.8ish on his car. I've got eibach prokits and they are 1.2 inch drop and settled to about 1.5 i'd say.

They will leave you with about a one and a half-2 finger gap between the tire and the fender.

I have HP's and Tokico Blues, and you are right they say it is a 1.5" drop, but mine settled to 1.7ish.

I have the Tokico HP shocks, but Eibach Sportline springs. It probably gave it a 2-2.5 drop. It's probably a little too low for most people, but it gives a very sexy look. I'm very happy with my shocks, but I'll probably go to the Pro-Kits eventually. I don't like scraping my bumper.

I still scrape on every now and then, but I love them.

I just used the shox from the kit and kept my prokit springs since I loved my prokits and didnt wanna go any lower (not that it would have been much lower). The shocks have been great thus far though. My friend I sold the springs to liked them.

Thanks, fellas. I'm sporting GR2/Sportlines right now, and they're a bit bumpy on surface streets. On the open road, however, they are fabulous. :thumbsup It's just that, at slower speeds on bumpier streets, it kinad feels like a wheel might be about to fall off, the way you feel every bump and wave in the road. LOL
