Hey, just bought my 95 eclipse RS about a week ago and one of my rear springs is gone. It's all bent up and mangled, idk what happened to it. The problem is, the car is lowered and the guy i bought it from doesn't know how much or what springs were used, so how do i tell what spring to buy to replace the bent one? thanks for the help.

It could be any of a thousand springs made for the eclipse..
Look at it for markings? or what color is it?
or just buy a whole new set, they dont cost that much..

no not really, you can take a picture and maybe someone will recognize it??

buy new springs they are cheap why replace one when you still have 3 old soon to start sagging springs in there. I got my h&r springs from ebay for 150 shipped.

Yeah just buy new springs from Ebay. I would personally get TIEN springs if you can afford them, or maybe even some Eibach Sportlines. Also make sure that if you do decide to get TIEN springs, make sure they are real. There are a bunch of TIEN copies with full box and instructions circulating around now. You can tell by seeing if the spring has the TIEN logo on the spring metal, while the fake is a sticker. Good luck and if you can also afford it, you should get some new shocks as well with the spring purchase.

You can also just take a picture of it if you like the drop, and, like others said, can recognize the spring.

To the one who created this topic, just jack your car up and pull the wheel off and we could probably tell you what kind of springs you have now. Good luck.
