29897, Help in determining manufacturer
Posted by shadow_FIX, Oct-20-06 09:55 AM
Alright, so here's the story. I bought my Eclipse with what I thought were 18" Katana wheels. Everything was fine, except I later found out (after I got a flat and towed) that one of the wheels was previously broken, and welded to try to fix it. Now I'm stuck with three good wheels/good Nitto tires, and one broken one.

Problem 2: I emailed Katana to see if I could order a replacement, and it turns out that Katana doesn't even make this wheel, and the guy had put Katana center caps on them.

Anyone seen this before, or can point me in the right direction?

Unless they were homemade, there should be some sort of manufacturer identification marks, along with point of manufacture on them.

My wheels state: Enkei, Korea, 17x7, and wheel type (J or JJ) all on the inside. Flip it over and take a gander.
