hey guys, i need some input on this. i'm looking to make my ride smoother (it's pretty rough at times) and i want to lower the car a little bit. i dont think i want to do much over 1.5 inches because it starts to look shitty in my opinion, but i just wanted to know which is better in your opinion coilovers or springs? thanks.

Definately coil overs, but do you have coil over money? If not get some tokico struts and lowering springs... Lower height, and better ride quality

i have tokikos on the rear and i think monroe on the front. i don't really want to spend more than 200 on whatever i end up getting cuz i already got EVERYTHING else on the suspension redone. so if i could find some used coilovers in that range i'll get those. otherwise i'll just go with the springs. thanks for the info though i appreciate it.

If you go coil overs though look to spend at least $400 up for a semi quality set. A good pair of struts and spings will out perform and handle better than most coil overs until you get in the $600 range (Like TEIN's). I paid $450 just for AGX struts.

Side note, I have a set of Eibach Sportlines (1.5 inch) that are a year old with less than 1k on them. $120 shipped PM if interested.

"The Sportline spring series are made for extreme driving, lowering the car 2.1". We do NOT recommend these springs for normal use, but for show or race purposes, this kit will do the trick.

You MUST use a firm shock with these springs; stock shocks WILL blow out in short order."
