Wanted to know what other steps to take after a tie rod end job? Change both sides and had a alignment done. Rides smooth now but steal nervous to drive fast. Any help would be cool. Thanks

True story about 3 weeks ago I pulled into a driveway at work and my car almost crahed into a fence. Some how the cotter pin fell out and the tie rod came loose from the control arm . Hell yeah Im nervous.

my pass side tie rod end is held pretty much by good will only...

well not really but I somehow stripped the castle nut and it's being held there by the two outermost threads...

It's still there after a month of abuse though. I kinda stopped caring.

You should care about the people you might injure into when you loose control.

If you do crash, the lawyers and your insurance company will be happy to have your statement here that you were aware it was unsafe and drove it anyway. You really should think twice about what you post online.

This is the most retarded thread I've ever read. Don't screw around with tie rods that could come loose. You will kill someone. If you can't install a tie rod properly take it to a mechanic.
