Out of curiosity what are some of the suspension upgrades everyone's running? Right now I'm on KYB AGX shocks all around with Skunk2 coil overs, Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars, Prothane poly mounts and bushings all around, front and rear upper strut bars, and front and rear lower tie bars. Right now I'm running on some shitty tires with out even having a camber kit - that's my weak point. What kind of camber kit would everyone suggest to run on the Eclipse? Also, does anyone make any after market control arms? Or is there anything else that anyone does for better suspension performance? I'm just looking for some more info on what everyone is running and what is working and what isn't. Thanks again for the info everyone.

Well, i have a similer setup.

Koni Yellows wrapped with eibach prokits
Stillen Sway bars front and rear.
Rear ingals camber kit.
Front no kit which leads me to 1.5 degee neg camber on both sides. This i left for a reason.

There are aftermarket control arms available but can you afford to lose your right arm? They are in the vacinity of 500.00. That leaves you with either the ingalls camber kit or the SPC adjustable ball joint.

I have the ingalls, even though i dont use it on my silver eclipse. I did use it on my talon though. What happened was the control arms needed to be trimmed back because they hit the structural part of the wheel well. I really dont like that sort of thing. The ingalls do not look like they are fun to adjust for an alignment.

I would like to get some opinions on the adjustable balljoint. I am concerned to see how long the joint will last. Considering its 85.00 each i would hate to replace them every 60k-80k.

Those are the only way i am aware of. Might be more.

Who makes the control arms? Not that I would ever run them for that price, because I'm sure just control arms can't make that huge of a difference, but do you know anyone that does in fact run them and what do they think of them? Thanks again.

The cost is pretty much a result of forging and aluminum costs. Forging parts is expensive, especially when making them from aluminum. Those probably went through many stages to get to where they are, and you can't heat aluminum too much or it will become attract contaminants and material flaws. I am not sure they would ever be worth that price tag though, as nice as they may be. I haven't ever heard anything bad about them, but don't really know anyone who runs them either.
