will the cheap ebay tower braces and rear tie bar work ok ? or should I just get something name brand what do you guys think.

most are the same and do a decent job, a few expensive ones do a little better job but I don't think are worth the money. For a real great job you have to get a custom made one that also bolts to the firewall, that's my understanding.

I have ebay strut bars and I noticed a difference with only the front one. when i bought a put the rear one on i didnt notice a thing. the rear one seems pointless but whatever.

Thats would be a triangulated bar. I dont know how stiff our firewall is though.
