After two weekends (first weekend, autozone gave me the wrong tool, and I spent most of the time sawing off a bolt at the sway bar link :-\ )
and lots of bruises, scrapes and cuts, I finished installing a full Tokico Illuminas suspension (shocks/struts and springs, 1.5" drop).

Haven't gotten her washed yet cuz its been raining all weekend, but I snapped some pics anyways.

edit: and looking at that pic, I guess I need to work on clearing my driver's side headlight :( I think its just fogged up from the rain.

looks pretty good, just wait for them to rest and you'll get rid of a little bit more gap ;) Some 18's on there would make it look really nice also.

Car looks good...nice and aggressive! I have the same lowering kit and in all honesty, I was surprised(in a good way) at the quality of the ride. If you don't have camber correction yet, plan on getting it. With that same setup, my front was out over one degree for the camber and a buttload on the toe. The rear had a little negative camber...but nothing significant. Every car is different though...so I suggest on getting an alignment done and then decide if you need any correction. Like everybody knows...that kind of camber and toe will eat through your tires in no time.

I'm gonna do the 15$ camber mod this week if i can find the bolts :-( The only reason I neglected to do these immediately (including an alignment) is because my tires are already bald as hell and I'm planning to pick up some new tires in the next two weeks. I have to start researching again for which tires I'm gonna get, and then I'll ride those as long as I can and save up for the upgrade to 18"s with rims and tires.

The Ace hardware here had the bolts for the camber mod but they only had like 3, so i'm gonna check some other places this week, and if i can't find them i'll just order the ingalls kit.

Get used to it...you'll be doing that more than you'd like to admit lol :P I have the same problem...I've changed the way I drive and the way I pull in and out of parking lots/driveways because of how low this kit ended up dropping me ;(

i too found that out the hard way when i scraped for the first time. Needless to say i will never go through a drivethrough again in my car. I hate those things anyways. Dunkin donuts, its worth it to just get up and walk in to get coffee. Also my curb at my house, i have to go at such a weird way to get in, out is easy, but in i scraped every time til i drew a line on the ground.

Im ordering my ingalls rear, not sure how bad the front is, it doesnt look too bad so im thinking the alignment shop will tell me its ok.

Yeah, I didn't think I was ever going to get this job done. It was almost heading to a shop on sunday to get it done, but I decided the hell with that, went to autozone and got the right tool (after finding out from you guys that I'd been given the wrong one the first time :thumbsup ) and pumped the job out in about 7 hours all by my lonesome... when I started on the rears it started raining out and I had my car right at the opening to my garage so i basically got rained on for the second half of the job :-\

Boy am I glad its done. Alignment and camber mods and new tires and then I'm done modding for say... two weeks, lol.

Just order the Ingalls kit from www.importautoperformance.com for $25 shipped. Takes like 3 days to get there and you don't have to source out the hardware.

The alignment people put mine on when they did the job.

I think I'll do that, had new tires and an alignment today, my front camber is out -1.2 degrees on the left, -1.3 on the right, and my rear camber is -2.1/-2.2 left/right. I'm going to order the ingalls kit today, but i will be driving the car roughly 100 miles beforei get this all fixed, will this do significant damage to my tires or should I be ok?

The front will have to wait either way, because I can't afford the front camber kit yet :-( I need a new fricken job.

I am waiting to install my setup. Just waiting on the camber kit for the rear and then bushings struts and springs go in. Tokico Illuminas/Eibach pro kits and Prothane bushings... Woo Hoo!
