28851, Swaybar Info Posted by Chamuko, Mar-03-06 02:22 PM
Ok, So I was debating getting some new sway bars. So I decided to do some research. I made a little ghetto page with some info and notes. Could you guys with a little more experience shine in here and add comments so That I can improve this.
Funny thing is, the cheapest bars are infact the thickest. I actually debated getting the RMDSM's or ST for the thicker rear bars since I want more oversteer.
Thoughts?
Is this of any help to anyone?

Edit : if the page doesnt load, just hit reload. Weird.

ST does have adjustable front. I run them on the softest setting at auto x with tokicos set at 4 up front and 2 in the rear. Seems to work the best. I really wish the rear bar was adjustable as I can induce oversteer pretty much at will if I set the rear struts at full stiff. This is on kuhmo 712's fyi. When running Kuhmo v700 (track tire) it was hard to get them to break loose at all with the above settings.

also make sure that the bars will clear your exhaust
the rmdsm will clear a 3" exhaust

I have RMDSM's with a 3" over without any clearance issues

the rmdsm follows the oem shape of the sway bar so if your exhaust clears your oem sway bar then it will clear the rmdsm
