Posted by IowaRS_racer, Jun-18-01 01:40 PM
Okay Ive got a big two day autocross coming up and I dont want to lose... so the question I have for all you is do I get sway bars or strut tower bars... which will help me the most??? I plan on getting susp. tech. of either because a local shop will cut me a deal for a sponsorship, the best they have is Suspension Techniques... I need to decide ...... Or should I order an AFX underdrive pulley.....?????

sways and STBs do different things man... sways will always help u out more for the twisties... and AFX is definately a great choice... however... get some race tires like the kumhos which will make u stick to the ground!

Yeah Im setup fairly good I would say Im kinda running short on time so it probably wont happen until the next race....
Iceman CAI, Konig Mozart Muffler,Konig V racing alum spoiler, team loco 134's(17"), Summitomo HTRZ 2's 225/45/17....plus exterior add ons Vis Battle Z front end, painted center piece tail light, custom paint, custom vinyl.... and the all important SCCA membership.. Im trying to get suspension parts but its hard because I can get them for fairly cheap but its just bad timing with the bills...... blah blah

strut tower braces are much easier to install, but I think You'll see more of a benefit from sway bars
