Okay this past weekend I was installing new rotors and pads up front. I also picked up some SS lines from RRE, all was going good installing the lines till I got to the driver side. I was using a flare wrench and trying to break loose the nut where the rubber line meets the hardline from the engine bay. I lost my balance and fell forward alittle, but by doing it, my wrench fell with me and stripped the nut. Its now at the point where its almost compelety rounded. I put everything back together and have been driving it to work everyday now(with only one side being SS lines the other being the stock rubber hoses)(which just for safety notes, not a good thing, i had to stop real quick yesterday and my car pulls hard to the side with the SS line on it). I searched but the only thing i came up with is, the part number to the metal hardline. My question is, am i screwed and have to track down the hardline leading into the fenderwell or is there away i might be able to get the line off even though the nut is stripped? If i do have the replace the hardline, how hard of a install do you think it is to run a new line into the driver side fenderwell? I looked and it looks like it connects right below where our brake booster is, to some metal tube (reminds me of our master cylinder). Thanks guys if anyone can help me, i need to get this fixed.

I did the same thing and its a simple fix, just get some vice grips and clamp down on that nut and it will come right off.
you can always just buy a new whole brake line but IMO its not worth it, just get that nut off with the vice grips with teeth and just leave it stripped

Yeah man, I'd just get a set of vice grips with a good set of teeth so you can grip it, and you should be able to get it done.

Napa, Carquest, and I'm sure any other reputable auto parts store should carry hard line to meet the length.

I had to do that on a friend's car. $2.50 pipe benders work just great. It may be a pain trying to get new pipe to match up to the same shape as the old, but it's probably a safer bet.
