28517, taking off..something..hard to explain Posted by 95Eclipse302, Jan-14-06 06:35 PM
OK so sometimes (seems more when taking off slower) my car inda rocks back and fourth I guess...I head a sound like something up under the car is bottoming out and its real hard to explain but maybe someone can help me here...My car is lowered 2 inches and I can only get about to fingers b/t my tire and fender but its not the tire rubbing the fender...its almost as if the suspension is so soft taking off rocks the car and the suspension has no strength to keep it from bouncing around....owever going down the road it dosent feel like it is to soft...anyone have any ideas?

What you need: 1. new shocks/struts 2. time to proofread your posts

If you are lowered 2" on stock shocks they are blown or will be blown shortly.

Could be shocks like the others said, but there are a few other active posts right now that you should read. Any part of the motor mounts could be messed up in some way. Does the car shake and jerk or is it more gentle?

I'm Not stock struts, there aftermarket struts with goldlines. The stocks are in my garage. It's more rough, maybe I should check my motor mounts. Oh yeah, I was in a hurry when typing this so thats why its kinda hard to read. Thanks
