I'm needing to replace my drivers lower lateral arm boot, lower compression arm boot, upper A-arm boot and my tie rod boot.

Can I just use any grease or is there something "better" to use. I'm going to satan tomorrow to order the boots. Also, what's a good way to get the grease into those things. Thanks.

If you figure out how to get them off and put the new ones on, let me know. I have boots lying around that I need to put on, I have no clue how to get them off tho.

very easy to install and remove. A large screw drive and being gentle will remove them without damage. Channel locks and finesse will install them.

As for grease....any high temp will work. no way to really get grease inside the joint though unless you drill and install a grease zirk.

Lol. yeah I payed $11/ea for mine. Let me know if its as easy as star turbo talon says when you do them, I might decide to try mine. Anyway I've been driving on torn boots for like 2 weeks now. Is it too late to just replace the boots?

Probably depends on their condition. Mine were perfect until I had to remove the steering knuckle. Definitely check them to make sure they're clean as far as no sand or road crap in 'em.

I've taken mine off & it's extremely simple. One end stretches over the part that's connected to the arm. The other end slips over the joint end. Just do what Star Turbo said & use a regular screwdriver to slide 'em off.

Removal is really easy.
