27510, re-calibration of sensors question after wheel change
Posted by TheOctane, Jul-07-05 11:29 AM
Hey all, just bought new 18 inch wheels. I use to have the 16inch OZs, are there any places you all would recommend to get my stuff re-calibrated? Ive heard Auto-Zone is good to work with but id like you opinions. Thanks in advance

well #1 if you got the correct size tires then you shouldnt have to do anything it should be fine you can do whats called 1up or 2up its when you go up sizes in tires but keep the same outer diameter so the speedo stays correct

#2 if you bought the wrong tires then you need to go to the dealership and have them use the DRB3 tool to change the pinion angle to match the tires its gonna cost you over 100 bucks probably as the dealership likes to grab you by the balls and pull hard

#3 The factory ECU only has two tire size options that can be set by the DRB3 tool: 195/70R14 and 205/55R16.
