27424, Avenger Springs on Eclipse, anyone know spring rates?

Ok, been thinking about this a little bit. I remember hearing that an Avengers coil springs will work on an Eclipse, but due to the increased weight of the Avenger the springs lift the Eclipse. Eibah lists a Prokit for the Avenger at, I believe, 1.8in drop front and rear, where as the Prokits for an Eclipse are 1.2F;1.4R and the Sportlines are 2.0 front and rear (am I right) and the springs for the Avenger are listed with a different part# than the Eclipse springs. Now the question, if one were to take the Avenger Prokit and put it on an Eclipse, would he/she achieve approx. the same drop as an Eclipse's Prokit but with stiffer springs? Would this be beneficial for the handling of the car or would it have a negative effect? Thought's? Experiences? Flames? All welcome (except the flames)

The front springs on an Avenger are too long to be used on an Eclipse. The rears will work though.

BUT you dont want a higher spring rate you want the lowest possible.
the reason most kits have a higher spring rate is to keep you from bouncnig off the bump stops all the time.

so the moral of the story is get the eclipse springs.

I've heard of using stock avenger rear springs for drag racing but thats it.

...which is what I do, and HRC does too. helps keep the back end from squatting so much on launch.

Id rather hook up some helper bags for drag racing then drive everywhere with my ass end even higher than it is now.

But the front end is longer then the Eclipse springs huh? Anyone make a variety of spring rates for our cars then?

the closest you can get is to get Skunk2 or Ground Control coilovers, and then you have a huge variety of options for different spring rates & lengths.

Aren't those the collar-overs? I don't really want to go that route, if I go coil-over Im gonna sell my kidney and buy some Tein's :D , what am I saying, I don't have any money right now anyways :(
