I was wondering if bushing will really help out my suspenion etc for my eclipse.
Will it make my ride stiffer harder etc?
i drive my car alot on the street?
also what bushing should i replace and with what kind ? thanks Michael

Enerygy Suspension has a complete kit that pretty much replaces all the bushings. YEs your ride will be a bit stiffer but your handle much better by doing this. Exactt impressions I can't gie you... I haven't done it yet.

I have the Energy Sus. bushings on my car. Well worth the money IMO. Don't have the part# handy since im at work but i can look at the box once i get home. Kit came with all the bushings on the suspension and also the bushings for the shifter plate. The shifter plate bushings were the easiest of them all to install. If you plan to DIY be ready for some headaches as it was a pain in the ass. Even with a press i couldn't get some of the old rubber bushings out. Had to resort to a propane blow torch and burned the fuc#ers out(thanks to RRE for the tip.) They stiffened up the suspension quite a bit even with my strut bars pulled off. Also be prepared for some squeking noises. I greased the hell out of the bushings like the instructions said and it still squeks a little. The shifter plates bushings are awsome. Gave the shifter a more solid feeling. Shifts felt a whole lot easier and smoother, but i also changed the tranny oil at the same time since i had my car on jacks to begin with so that probably had something to do with it also.

I've got the same kit on my car. that was the only part that I had professionally done, There would've been wayyy too many "choice" words If I did it myself. cost me like 250 or 300 for the labor on it. Haven't had any problems with squeeking. I wouldn't say it made the suspension stiffer or looser, but more solid, and gave me a better "feel" of the road.
