I'm looking to drop my car soon. My first pick for lowering would be the Pro-Kits, but I'm not sure I'll be able to spend that much, so I'm looking at different options. Does anyone here have either Megan, CM, TenzoR or H&R springs (not coilovers). I started to do some searching, but theres way too much to sort out, especially when I'm looking at 4 different brands. I'm looking for a quality ride and not too extreme of a drop. I live in Maine and the roads aren't too great up here. Thanks a lot guys!

A friend of mine has Tein S-Tech's which is about a 1.5" drop and he's got them on Tokico 5-ways. The ride is really smooth and comfortable.

Ebay's price for Tein S-Tech is about $120~140 shipped.

From what I hear you can't go wrong with H&R either. My friend had those on tokico illumina's and he had a 1.5" drop. They ride nice and would probably ride better if his tires were'nt so bald.

Pro-kits are the best springs that I've ridden on. If you can't afford $200 on suspension you probably shouldn't buy any suspension. Your stock struts will only last a couple days once lowered and the ride will be rough. You're looking at another $250 for performance struts.

You're also looking at another $100 for camber kits + another $50 for an alignment. If you skip this step, you'll probably have premature tire wear which in the long run would cost more than a camber kit and alignment.

I've already got performance struts and I'm looking to see if there are any cheaper springs that are nice because I know that I need camber kits and an alignment as well. Pro kits are $200 plus an alignment and camber kits would put me at $300 which I can't really do. I was looking for something that could keep me closer to $200.

Keep saving then dude.. Thats why I am still driving my 4x4.. If you want to do it rite it takes time to save.

I had the TenzoR springs on my eclipse. I was pretty pleased with the ride.

That is the reason people get Tein S-Techs in the first place. Some people want to only get rid of wheel gap not scrap their bumpers around town. I have tein s-techs and I love them.

Save your money and get a true coilover system. Like the Tein SS system for $600, or something similar. The ride quality is astounding!!! Definitely worth the money if you can drop it.

The guys are totally right! I would save and wait for the time when you can buy the Quality suspension parts. It will save you money aand heartache in the long run! One of the reasons mine is still on stock gear. Still saving. Oh yeah... I bought a house! There goes the suspension!! :thumbsup

Maine eh! Sweet! Representin NH here! I have sportlines (2 uinch drop). No issues at all. Have them paired with Koni adjustables and the ride is great. Then again, I put her away come winter!
