27057, Traction Problems Posted by RebelRiderR6, May-05-05 04:08 AM
I recently went to the track and had lots of trouble with traction in 1st and 2nd gear. I decreased my tire pressure and I kept messing up. My best time was 14.299 at 98.61mph. I know I got the power to do high 13s, seeing one other run where I ran 14.405 at 102.00 mph.
I searched and come up with the following items I am going to get. Tokico Shocks/Springs Slicks Phantom Grip LSD Conversion
I just wanted to see what you guys think. I need better traction and I understand when I get the adjustable shocks that I should stiffen up the back and soften the front before I do any runs. Now I also would love to get the quaife LSD but I don't have that kind of money and when I talked to Extreme Motorsports they told me the Phantom would be fine because they run that in there Talon.
