I'm trying to obtain a strut tower bar for my 1999 Dodge Avenger ES (2.5L, 6g73, AT, yadda yadda yadda). A friend of mine thinks a 2G Eclipse (or Talon) tower bar will fit. However he has a habit of stretching the truth so I need to know from other sources if it will and if it won't WHERE CAN I FIND ONE THAT WILL???:wallbash :shrug

I'd imagine so ......but I'm not sure, if you measure center to center I will do the same and let you know.........theres about 3 inches of adjustment on some of them for a tight fit so I'd imagine it would work.

yes some fit BUT you need to either install it upsidedown or use a press to bend the bar a bit.
just get one of the cheapo metal ones so you can bend it.
or you can always cut part of the hood supports and it will fit also.

i'd rather not do a hack job. upside down.... maybe.

from the centers it's about 38 1/2" the lower outside ones are 41". I hope thats helpful enough
