This is basically what I am looking into getting. I am very ignorant with this and was recommended by a friend to get these. I am very worried about my tranny going since I can't afford that so my hopes of getting full slicks r overwith for a long time. Is that good suspension for the track. I hear it is not good for the streets and someone else said it would help kill my tranny!? I am going to buy stage III axles probably, was thinking of stage II but don't wanna risk it. I plan to have around 300whp i hope. Figure 320 to 340whp at the most (I mean thats pushing it bigtime but just in case I plan to upgrade in the future). Any help would be appreciated like I said I'm very ignorant with this and if anyone has anything they think will be better please feel free to suggest it.

Edit: also I hear our tranny is weak because of the pin from our differential and u can weld the pin in place?

I have seen these in action and they perform a bit lower than victoracers (v700), but a bit better than the falken azenis. Not a good tire for a daily driver as they will wear out in no time flat. Speaking of flat, they flat spot really really easy too. They also will suck in the rain, no matter what it says on that site, those are like driving on grease in the rain.

As far as the suspension setup, those would be fine but don't forget to upgrade your sway bars while your at it. Major differences in how the vehicle handles after both those mods.

For the drag radials I will just be using those for the drag days. And switching back, I don't race much on the streets and it's always from a roll if I do. I was very much interested in getting slicks with new rims for the track because of this, but i'm scared shitless about my tranny going. Will welding the differential pin really help? Is this a common thing to do?

You're getting all this stuff but you're still planning on running an open differential?! Why? Do you want one wheel to spin? Also, don't bother welding the pin in. Go get some diff safing brackets. The are little metal brackets that you bolt in that cover the hole the pin goes through so it can't back out. But better than all that is to go get a real diff. Whether you get the Retrofit or a Quaife, get something. Stage 2 axles are pretty tough to break as well.

You're worried about your tranny and you buy PG SID type diff insert?! Dunno how much you paid but the retrofit isn't that much. Do a search on differentials on here. There has been plenty said about diff inserts.

Well I just figured might as well do this while the tranny is out and it's the best bang for the buck I heard. I heard that with the pin welded our trannies r very strong, from the research i've done but idk I'm still worried and curious if it can all handle slicks?
