Yes they will fit. I found out by searching the handling/suspension forum (which is the appropriate forum for this question). Just for future reference.

They fit, but if you plan to drop your car 1.5" or more, you'll have rubbing issues unless you roll the fenders. I have 235/45/17 at stock height. Mine will be dropped on pro-kits.

I installed a set of 225 45 17 and my car os dropped bout 2". They roll fine, no probs.

They will fit if you have AT LEAST a 7.5" wide wheel, preferably 8". Don't even consider it on a 7" one.
The perfect size is 225/45/17, but if you're getting 235s for free or something, they'll work ok.

235/45/17 will rub even on prokits, I went back to using 225/45/17 for that reason, unfortunately. I liked the added protection the 235s gave my wheels (17x7.5).
