I took my car in to get it aligned after I lowered it 1.7" in the rear. The person said it was off -3 deg. I know I need to put some washers and a longer bolt in there. However, I do not know how many or where the hell they really go. Any help would be acetated.

-3 is atleast 7-8 washers

If you look at the pic in the link below,they go behind the holes at 41309AR
upper and lower. When I dropped 1.5-1.6 inches I used 5 10 mm washers on each hole, 20 total for each side of the car. See write-up for further info on parts list...second link down.

Actually factory rear wheel camber is -1.75* and I've got 8 washers on my rears and still wear my tires on the inside.

i'm sure the homemade kit won't hert though. how much of a drop do you have. hell the guys over on aseclub.net told me i didn't even need a camber kit when you drop below 2".

Im dropped 2.5" and I only needed 5 washers to get mine back into factory spec. I dont think its very safe to go over 5 or 6 washers. Your taking a lot of contact away from the mount and car. Puts more stress on the bolts.

I dont think it would be a problem, but you never know. All you need is one of those bolts or the mounts to break on the highway and send you flyin off the road. Use the biggest washers you can find if you do it. Fender washers if you can find them.

Seriously, you NEED a camber kit most definately after a 2" drop. Besides the fact that your tires wear horribly fast. It looks stupid cause you can actually see your wheels bent inwards.

lol it does look like ass for real. Try to use the grade 10's. The 10's are hard to find but I was able to find 4 of them so I used 2 on each side along with 2 8's. I didn't feel like ordering the other 4 from Home dipshit. So just make sure you don't just slap any ole thing in there or like Pitchblack said they will break and that would be bad imo.

i got it done tonight, i put in six of them an ti still looks a littl off but it handles so much better on the road.

i know this may sound dumb, but it was near impossible to get all six washers in there at one time, i just taped them together and that worked great.
