Hey guys, just this week, everytime I turn the steering wheel I hear a loud squeaking noise almost like a rubbing of some kind coming from the right front side. When I turn the steering wheel right to left a couple of times it goes away until I have to make a turn while I'm driving. The noise is also present when I am parked and the car is off; I can move the steering wheel a little bit back and forth and it makes that same noise, but not as loud. I raised the car but saw nothing weird in the front suspension, everything apeared to be in place. The noise it like everytime my front tires turn to the left or right, it sounds like an old boat creaking. Thanks for the help!!

ball joint recall

I had that done in 2001 at the mitsu. dealership where I bought the car.

they still can be bad again, and did the dealer replace the joints or just lube/seal them. most places back in 2001 were just lubing and sealing the joint back up.

oh and the recall is still open until the parts have been replaced

Bro, I think that it might be the right front shock because 1. The right side of the car is bouncy as hell 2. the squeak also occurs when the car hits lil bumps on the road. I will look into the ball joint deal, but the dealerships by my house are so gay cause my car is not stock. Thanks for the help bro
