my brakes have a lot of pad left, and they still squeel really loud when i brake, and just recently, they have started to squeek while im driving. anyone know what can be wrong, i have All wheel disc brakes, with brembo cross drilled rotors, and some autozone brake pads.

if that is the problem, what kind do u think would be good for me?

edit: im looking for quiet, and good stopping distance. dont care about brake dust really

Bendix Import Quiets or Ceramics. The Ceramics are low dust. Import Quiets are their own line of different compound pad material that is better on noise.

Also when swapping the pads make sure you get your rotors machined. If you replace the pads without machining the rotors you will still have quite a bit of squeal when stopping.

you are not supposed to machine cross drilled rotors, or they could crack though..... should i just replace the pads?

If you want to, it is up to you. If your rotors are glossy, ribbed, or have a somewhat mirror finish they will continue to make noise.

i dont beleive they do, but i will check in the morning, and i think i will be buying some new pads tomorrow
