Okay, this may be a fucked up idea, but hell, why not get some more opinions.

I thought of 2 agenda's here on coilovers, you tell me what think please....

A) Buy and nice set of skunk2 coilovers and set the AGX setting on real low like front to 1-2 and rear on 1-3 so then I would have a stuff set of coilovers on a soft setting on the struts. That 'should' adequate to a decent ride.

B) Buy some cheap shit off of ebay like some BOMZ or AEROSPEED coilovers for like 75-100 bucks. This would obviously be real bouncy springs included probably. BUT I could set the agx's to front 3-4 and rear to 7-8 on the stiff settings and that 'should' adequate to the same ride as the skunks, hopefully decent.

Whats your thoughts on my thoughts, lol?

I got the whole ebay coilover idea from my neighbor, just thought i would throw it in there for some opinions and comments.

shitty and/or bouncy springs will be shitty and/or bouncy no matter what struts you put on.

Skunk2's are the way to go with coils, but for that combo i would jus save up another hundred or so and get the basic Tein's...they will be better then any coil/strut combo out there.

everyone keeps saying that about the teins, but i ALREADY have the agx struts! lol.

so... sell them, or deal with it, seriously everyone should ONLY buy teins. all other setups are not worth it, IMO.

BUT if you dont want a bouncy ride get maxspeed coilovers they will shake your nuts to pieces. its a super stiff ride.

From the reseach I've gathered, the Tein's will give you a good ride and good handling, but a ground control/koni setup will out perform the Teins... though it might not right as smooth.

no it wont, teins are far better than a koni/ground control seteup.
and the teins are cheaper. its like 750 for koni/gc and 690 for teins. plus you need to assemble the koni/gc setup where tein is all ready to mount

So, the GSX will bolt in right? The only difference is a stiffer spring due to the increased weight of the GSX?

if you decide to sell your struts, i might be interested, since i already have the skunk2's sitting in my garage.
