My car is lowered right now on Tokico blues and sportlines. Just recently, my front shocks blew out on me. I know I need to get this fixed now, but I dont want to get blues for the front and risk having them blow out again. I live in NYC and I need a good shock that can handle the drop and not blowout on me. Any suggestions? Thanks.

then again, you don't live in NYC. what most ppl consider potholes, we NY'ers see them as minor dips in the road. our potholes gets as bad as the height of parking stumps in parking lots. sometimes they are unavoidable because avoiding one means turning into another one. it just depends which one you want to hit because hitting the second one can be worse. most you guys here like the tokico blues for a basic setup but thats one advice i'm glad i never took from you guys. everyone i know with tokicos blues, nissans, hondas...whatever, says its too stiff for NYC and regrets it big time. seems like my ass is about to fall off when i sit in their cars. one honda i know wasn't even dropped.

ICULOOKN: since you are on sportlines, stick with something adjustable but no guarantee. you know how the roads are here. i dunno how you drive around with sportlines but kudos to you for keeping that bumper looking like that. i m on prokits and gr-2's. money-wise, best choice i ve ever made. ride quality is really close to stock, just better handling.

No I don't live in NY, However I "AM" in Northern NH where potholes are huge and fierce. Primarily caused by frost heaves and snow plows.

And finally, Koni Yellows ARE adjustable.
