25006, upgrading brake lines? Posted by Chip176583, Aug-21-04 05:09 PM
Hey I was thinking of upgrading my brake lines and was wondering if they really do help like they say. If so whats the best type and place to buy them? thanks

I was wondering the same thing. Its probably one of those things you feel right after the install but the next day have already grown use to it.
They are listed on ebay every now and then for ~70.00+ shipping and NOPI has them listed @80.00 for Earls/Holley

ditto...it lets you feel the brakes much more...better responce since the lines don't expand at all...I did mine when i got my cross drilled and slotted rotors along with ceramic pads and mo betta brake fluid...I love my brakes :thumbsup

Ive heard to stay away from the dot 5 silicon stuff, supposedly something about it eating seals, I just got some of this from advanced autoparts much better than stock
