24640, Question about AGX's Posted by davo345, Jul-06-04 10:24 AM
My KYB AGX's just arrived, and I noticed that the rears have a 1-8 adjustment and the fronts have a 1-4 adjustment. What the heck? How can you appropriately match up the stiffness if they are on different scales?
Any suggestions for combinations for the settings for the front and the rear? Maybe you have a setting for your shocks that you are happy with?
Let me know. Thanks. :)

i ride mine on the front setting at 2 and the rear at 5. i used to have the front at 4 and rear at 7-8 but it was WAY to rough for daily driving, more for racing for stiffness. i like the front at 2 and rear at 5 though because the front is somewhat stiff but not too bouncy and the rear rides super smooth. i suggest thoughs and have drove with like every setting and like those the best. hope that helps~ and no you prolly wont need a front camber kit, atleast i didnt. the wheels arent perfect, but i wouldnt be spending $100 to fix a SLIGHT adjustment, ya heard

they don't need to be the same. the front carries more weight, you put all the weight when you brake, etc. just put them in the middle, adjust it if its too hard or too soft. blaaaaah.

I use 2 in the front and 8 in the rear for normal driving or 6 in the rear
for drifting I use 1 in the front and 8 in the rear.
