24504, NEED HELP ASAP.......strut bar install Posted by injendsm, Jun-26-04 06:01 AM
ok i was about to install my rear strut bar and came across a problem. when i removed the two pieces that cover the spots where the strut bar would be installed, i saw that there is this black thing in between the two bolts. how the hell am i supposed to get those bolts off with that thing there? there isnt enough space to slip anything between there to get the bolts off. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

i know that black thing comes off but theres still something under it that is in the way. there isnt that much space to get to the bolts. i was thinking about using a socket tho if i can find one in the garage. thanks for the help.

ok i went by sears ealier and picked up some new tools, including a socket. when i got back home, i immediately went over to my car and knocked out the install in two minutes. it looks good as hell; pictures will be up later. i noticed a slight difference but nothing major. i dont think ill notice it too much till i drop the car.
