24420, satan -finally- fixed my power steering... Posted by robinj, Jun-17-04 02:58 PM
of course, they didn't have it done monday, so they gave me this hunk of a GM atrocity (and didn't charge me to rent it...)
I guess it took them longer because I also had 'em put in new front swaybar links, which were siezed, and because they didn't want to drop the rack to replace the hoses... on the bright side, all I need now is a non-rainy day off to change my front shocks... got a spare set of lower fork -> control arm bolts, just incase those are fucked... didn't have any of the ones that clamp the shock to the fork, though. just my luck, I'll damage those too :/ all I can say is, after driving that shitfire(TM) for a day and a half, I've never missed my eclipse so much in my life :thumbsup

24460, rusted bolts from hell Posted by robinj, Jun-20-04 09:03 AM
yup. that shock -> fork bolt's a bitch. why do I have the only eclipse with a rusted to hell suspension? :wary not to mention there's no room in there to move the box wrench on it.
